Fruit from tree to you

Established in 1964, Mountain Lagoon Orchard is  located 8.8km from Bell’s Line of Road at Bilpin in the Hawkesbury region of the Blue Mountains, New South Wales. The property is 8 hectares (about 20 acres) in size with five distinct orchard planting blocks with very practical names: the North block, the South block, the Cherry block, the Back block and the Fig block.

The owners grew up in the region and come from a farming background, purchasing the beautiful orchard in 2020 from a lovely older couple who were retiring after 30 years of farming. Mountain Lagoon Orchard has recently been joined by a new recruit – Molly Mai, a very gentle rescue dog now living a great life.

The property contains many beautiful coloured maples, gorgeous magnolias and many other trees that create a spectacular garden all year around.

The orchard is surrounded by the picturesque Wollemi National Park and we have many wild-life ‘visitors’, especially wombats at night who like to barge through our hail netting! We are pretty good at sewing now.
